Unveiling the Secrets of Traditional Kerala Ayurveda Treatment

Secrets of Traditional Kerala Ayurveda Treatment

1.0 Introduction

Ayurveda is not just a simple therapeutic approach, rather, the science of reestablishing the body by required medical interventions. Our rapidly changing lifestyle can easily damage our inner self. Human body has an innate ability to heal itself. Its ability to heal keeps getting stronger.

Toxin buildup within has an impact on the procedure. Each person is made up of their natural order, which is the harmony of these three doshas. Unbalance is produced if the order is upset. Disorder denotes an ill state, while natural order suggests a state of health.

With the use of this Panchakarma Treatment, we assist our patients in Kerala, India, in detoxifying and rejuvenating.

1.1 Panchakarma Treatment

Panchakarma is a five-fold therapy method used for an effective detoxification and rejuvenation. For an effective Panchakarma treatment, the patient should need to be prepared by Pre-Panchakarma.
Following are the Pre-Panchakarma treatment plans:

>Deepana-Pachana

Essentially, patients are given herbal decoctions orally to aid in better digestion and dissolve harmful metabolites that can be removed from the body through Panchakarma treatments.

>Snehana

Ghee that has been specially medicated to aid impaired dosha is given orally to patients. Fatty acid administration can also involve external and internal administration of abhyanga, or medicinal massages.

>Swedana

Swedana is the term for when a person’s body starts to sweat due to heat. Heat therapy helps the body’s weakened doshas. It becomes liquid and moves into the gastrointestinal tracts, where they can be removed by a variety of panchakarma procedures.

Pradhana Karma (The Major Treatment)

>Vamana

Herbs are used orally as part of this treatment. This will help to assist in removing the body’s weakened doshas, particularly the Kabha doshas.

>Virechana

A high fat level in the gallbladder, liver, or small intestine can cause conditions such as skin irritation, acne, biliary vomiting, nausea, and jaundice. A therapeutic removal is taken orally during this treatment to assist the body in eliminating extra fat.

>Nasya (Nasal Treatment)

After stimulating the face and neck with massage, Nasya helps eliminate the deficient doshas from the head and sinuses. This therapy aids in the conditions pertaining to the face, head, and neck.

>Vasti

Medicated oil is injected via the anal canal during the Vasti treatment. It aids in the body’s elimination of any imbalanced doshas.

>Rakta Moksha( Blood Purification)

By taking a tiny amount of blood from the vein, Rakta Moksha is utilized to eliminate the fat in the blood. Removing even a small volume of blood that contains too many toxins encourages the spleen to produce anti-toxic compounds.

1.2 Rejuvenation (Rasayana Chikitsa)

One treatment for anti-aging is rejuvenation therapy. Rasayana Chikitsa is the name of an Ayurvedic rejuvenation treatment in Kerala, India (Rasa = essence, Aayana = route, Chikitsa = treatment).

It maintains the body and mind healthy and strengthens immunity. The effective Ayurvedic treatment helps us to attain a healthier condition. Prevention is always better than cure.

Rejuvenation therapy, also known as Rasayana Chikitsa, is a mythical practice that is sometimes equated with rebirth. Because it fully revitalizes the body and removes the negative effects of all past illnesses. It purifies and fully cleanses the body, mind, and spirit, giving one a new lease on life.

The term “Rasayana” originates from two distinct Sanskrit terms: ‘Ayana’, which means path, and Rasa, which means the ‘essence that nourishes the body’.Thus, Rasayana represents a route that is nutritious.
